Hoy vamos a hablar de este peculiar personaje. Y decimos peculiar porque tiene
62 años, es monje y lleva 16 años practicando el heavy metal. Como podéis ver nada es incompatible en esta vida.
El Padre Cesare se dio cuenta de esta afición mientras asistía en 1992 a un concierto de Metallica en Milán. Se atreve a describir la música dura como "
bella, viva, fuerte y enérgica". Aunque él y su banda compongan rock duro siempre con
toques religiosos en las canciones, faltaría más.
Y el
éxito del Padre Cesare es impresionante. Tiene hasta su propio
representante y a su
agente de prensa que le consigue firmar unos
100 conciertos al año. El próximo será el 29 de junio, actuará junto a Judas Priest en el festival de
Gods of Metal que se celebrará en Bolonia. Además, lanzó su último disco en mayo, titulado como
Misterios.
